IDS JMK Poseidon is the official application of KORDIS JMK, a.s. – the coordinator of the Integrated Transport System of the South Moravian Region. It enables you to easily purchase tickets and also provides you with essential travel information for traveling in southern Moravia.

Poseidon is designed primarily for those with permanent internet access who occasionally use single or universal tickets for public transportation in southern Moravia. Top up your virtual account via a bank transfer and purchase tickets at a more advantageous price than those bought at the ticket office, machine, or from the driver. Save your favorite tickets and buy them in just two clicks on your next journey. Your money is secure as KORDIS JMK is owned by the South Moravian Region and the city of Brno.

Purchased tickets are valid in all IDS JMK zones, in city transport, trains, and regional buses. Tickets are valid on trains five minutes after purchase at the earliest, and in other transports, two minutes after purchase at the earliest.

The application automatically finds the necessary connections and determines the ticket required for a specific journey. Simply select the fare type and confirm. Tickets come in two types – either issued for a specific route (My Tickets) or as so-called Quick Tickets issued only from a specific zone for a certain number of zones. Both types cost the same.

Poseidon is beneficial even for larger groups of travelers. Previously, each traveler in a group had to purchase their own ticket. With Poseidon, one type of ticket can now be purchased for up to 10 passengers at once.

Do you often find yourself visiting and unsure about the next departure time? No need to enter your location details anymore; just launch Poseidon and check Departures – it will display departures from the nearest stops. Simply select the closest one.

If you travel regularly in areas lacking internet signal or need quick access to timetable displays, downloading timetables to your mobile is simple. They will be available even without internet access.
